In November of last year, we were successful in pitching for our second short film for S4C, ‘Y Cwtch Lletchwith’, or ‘The Awkward Hug’. The film will sit within the popular program, ‘Y Lle’ and will be broadcast on THURSDAY 28th FEBRUARY at 10pm.

The film is a comedy that captures a moment that, hopefully, everyone has or will experience at one point. That moment when someone says ‘I Love You!’

We had the pleasure of premiering the piece, along with four other successfully pitched projects – on the theme of ‘First Love’ – at the 2013 Ffresh festival in Wrexham. Incidentally, at the awards, our old friend, Emyr Wyn Jones, scooped ‘Best Actor’ award for his role in our first film for S4C, ‘4c’!

As we love working with amazing actors, we had the ultimate fortune for ‘Y Cwtch Lletchwith’, of working with two of our favourite people in Jessica Batty and Gethin Evans, who take on the roles of the young couple in the film.

VI friend and colleague, Josh Bennett, also took time out from winning a Royal Television Society award to be involved on the film, taking care of the audio and music scoring side of things. Working with great people definitely makes our jobs easier and we’re delighted with the finished film!
